The Essentials

Peaceful walks

Our most popular program for building calm, confident dogs at home. The Essentials package focuses on everyday obedience and manners, giving you the tools to enjoy life with your dog instead of managing constant frustration.

In these personalized in-home sessions, we’ll teach your dog:

  • Commands like “Come” so you can call your dog from anywhere, “Off” & “Quiet” to stop unwanted jumping and barking, as well as “let’s go” for loose lease walking.
  • Sessions tailored to your dog addressing any unwanted behaviors.

Choose the plan that fits your goals:

  • 3 Sessions: Covers the core obedience commands (Come, Sit, Stay, Off, Quiet) and creates a strong foundation for better behavior.
  • 4 Sessions: Includes everything above plus a “Place” lesson or a guided field trip to practice real-world obedience outside the home.

Out and About

Ready to take your training
beyond the backyard?

This is our most popular in-home training program and is great for that owner who wants to take their dog out to more places, and enjoy activities together.  This program will get your dog walking right next to you without pulling, stop barking when you ask them to, and come when called.

This program will give us time to work on very popular commands…. like “place”, where your dog will stay on their bed until you say they can go, no matter what. This command is awesome when guests are over (and super impressive), or anytime you’re cooking or eating and don’t want them under your feet.

Getting your dog to listen when there’s no leash on is a must if you want freedom with your dog. After all, your dog is off leash 99% of the time at home anyway. No worrying about your dog running off into dangerous situations, or bolting out the door.

We will do the lessons in your home and train your dog as we train you. People love the fast results this program makes possible, since we spend so much time working together, all you have to do is maintain things.

We’ll also do some lessons in public places so we perfect the commands in the places you and your dog spend the most time. Camping, hiking, walking around town, all your adventures.

This program is typically completed in about 6 weeks and includes: 

  • Lessons with you and your dog together in your home, including one field trip lesson to practice around distractions and field trip lessons 
  • Teaching your dog to walk on a loose leash & stop jumping up, plus coming when called and listening around distractions.
  • Listen reliably to commands like sit, off, let’s go, quiet and “place” (go to a dog bed and stay there!).
  • Reliability around distractions, even at a distance and for longer periods of time!
Get Out and About

Set For Life

“Everything – plus jumpstart sessions and lifetime support”

This program is great for families who want to have more help with the hard work needed at the start. In addition to everything included in The Essentials and Out and About programs, the Set For Life program includes a jump start. We will come to your home for two jump start lessons in the first week and train your dog so the learning is even faster!

By the time we start showing you how to continue and maintain your dog’s training, they are already well on their way to walking nicely on leash, being quiet when asked, and keeping all 4 feet on the ground when desired.  Soon you’ll be ready to start going to a coffee shop or a brewery while your dog lies by your feet as you enjoy your drink.

This program comes with a full lifetime support guarantee so you never have to worry about your dog’s training slipping over time.

On top of that, we’ll also go out together in public over the course of these sessions, making sure that no matter what “real life” gets thrown at you, you know how to handle it and your dog listens to you!

This program is typically completed in about 8 weeks and includes:

  • 2 Jumpstart Lessons (we’ll come train your dog for you at your home to give them a big head start) 
  • Lessons with you and your dog together in your home, including two field trip lessons to practice around distractions
